# Add Household

To add a household click the "**Add Household**" button. This will open a drawer with the form to add a household.

The following fields will appear by default when creating a household.

* Household name
* Primary Contact: This is the main donor of the household
* Additional Contacts: These are other donors the primary contact has a relation with.
* Address line 1
* Address line 2
* City
* State/Region
* Postal code/zip code
* Country

Any additional fields you would want to add to this form can be added in the [household profile form](/guides/core-features/program-management/program-forms.md).

After submitting the form, the household will appear in the table for households.
