Events

Use Events when you need to plan a fundraiser, sell tickets, collect sponsor packages, run check-in, and follow up from one event workspace.

Events are separate from Programs, Trips, and Campaigns, but they can connect back to them for attribution. That lets you run a gala, golf outing, webinar, donor appreciation event, sponsorship night, or other fundraiser while still keeping the donor, donation, sponsorship, and reporting history connected to the rest of Gratona.

The Events workspace shows upcoming events, registration counts, completed orders, filters, search, event defaults, and the new event action.

Events can help you manage:

  • reusable event defaults

  • public event pages

  • ticket types and RSVP options

  • sponsor packages

  • registration questions

  • promo codes

  • table and seating assignments

  • fixed-price items and auction items

  • donor fields during registration

  • add-on donations and fee coverage

  • QR tickets and wallet passes when configured

  • event-day check-in

  • guest-list and sponsor self-service links

  • event revenue, attendance, sponsor, and follow-up reporting

Event roles

Events support different working modes:

  • Event managers create and publish events, update setup, manage ticketing, sponsors, tables, communications, and public registration.

  • Finance and reporting users review event orders, exports, tax split fields, payment status, and reconciliation.

  • Check-in volunteers can run the event-day check-in surface without seeing finance details.

  • Sponsors and table hosts can receive limited self-service links for guest details, sponsor contact information, and logo collection.

  • Guests and donors register from the public event page and use their manage link to review tickets, QR codes, and sponsor guest slots.

Note: If you do not see Events, ask an administrator to confirm that your user has Events access. Check-in-only users may see the event-day check-in workflow without broader event setup or finance access.
