Leader Console
Last updated
The Leader Console gives trip leaders a participant-facing workspace for managing the parts of a trip they have been allowed to oversee. It lives inside the participant dashboard, not the admin Trips area.

Log in as a participant.
Open the trip from the participant dashboard.
Click Leader Console if the participant has the Leader role.
If the participant is not a leader, or if leader access is not available for that trip, the Leader Console does not appear.
The current Leader Console includes these tabs:
Participants
Budget
Milestones
Tasks
Completions
Templates
The tabs and actions a leader can use depend on their effective Leader Permissions.
When permitted, leaders can:
view the trip roster
add participants
edit participants
withdraw participants
invite participants
export the roster
The participant tools in the Leader Console use the same trip-specific workflow concepts as the admin roster, including goals, roles, tags, and minor or guardian information.
When permitted, leaders can:
add budget items
edit budget items
delete budget items
When permitted, leaders can manage fundraising milestones for the trip.
When permitted, leaders can:
add tasks
edit tasks
delete tasks
review task targeting
open the participant roster for a task
send reminders when reminder access is available
When permitted, leaders can review participant task submissions. If approval access is enabled, leaders can also approve or reject submitted completions.
When permitted, leaders can:
create task templates
edit templates
delete templates
apply templates to the current trip
The current Leader Console focuses on participant, budget, milestone, task, completion, and template management.
It does not currently mirror every admin-side trip tool. For example, the leader-facing console does not include the admin Communication history tab, the admin E-Signatures tab, or the admin Background Checks tab.
