Trips Table

The Trips Table is your central dashboard for viewing and managing all trips in your HelpYouSponsor account. From here, you can see an overview of every trip, track fundraising progress at a glance, and take quick actions such as creating, editing, archiving, or deleting trips.

Accessing the Trips Table

To access the Trips Table, navigate to Trips in the main sidebar menu. This will open the trips dashboard displaying all of your organization's trips.

Table Columns

The Trips Table displays the following information for each trip:

  • Name - The trip name and destination (if set).

  • Dates - The start and end dates of the trip.

  • Goal - The overall fundraising goal for the trip.

  • Raised - The total amount raised so far across all participants.

  • Progress - A visual progress bar showing what percentage of the fundraising goal has been reached.

  • Participants - The number of participants enrolled in the trip.

  • Status - The current status of the trip (Draft, Active, Completed, Archived, or Cancelled).

Searching and Filtering

At the top of the Trips Table, you will find tools to help you locate specific trips quickly.

  • Search - Use the search bar to find trips by name. Simply type your search term and the table will filter in real time.

  • Filter by Status - Use the status dropdown to filter trips by their current status. The available options are:

    • All Statuses - Shows all trips regardless of status.

    • Draft - Trips that are still being set up and are not yet visible to participants or the public.

    • Active - Trips that are currently in progress and accepting donations.

    • Completed - Trips that have concluded.

    • Archived - Trips that have been archived for record-keeping.

    • Cancelled - Trips that were cancelled before completion.

Quick Actions

Each trip row includes action buttons that allow you to take quick actions without navigating away from the table:

  • View (eye icon) - Opens the detailed trip page where you can manage all aspects of the trip.

  • Archive (archive icon) - Archives the trip. Archived trips are hidden from the default view but can be restored later.

  • Restore (refresh icon) - Appears for archived trips, allowing you to restore them to their previous active state.

  • Delete (trash icon) - Permanently deletes the trip. A confirmation dialog will appear before the trip is removed. This action cannot be undone.

Creating a New Trip

Click the Create Trip button at the top left of the Trips Table to open the trip creation form. See Create a Trip for detailed instructions.

Pagination

If you have many trips, the table will paginate automatically, showing 20 trips per page. Use the pagination controls at the bottom of the table to navigate between pages.
