Url Generator

Use URL Generator when donors should browse more than one sponsorship program from a single public link. This is helpful when multiple programs should appear together on one donor-facing selection page.

URL Generator is available from Program Setup > URL Generator.

Program Setup > URL Generator creates one link for a multi-program donor selection page.

If you do not see the URL Generator tab, your role may not include access to view or manage programs.

Create a Multi-Program URL

Choose the default settings first, then choose the programs donors can browse.

1. Open Program Setup.

2. Select URL Generator.

3. Under Choose Default Program Settings, select the program whose settings should provide the defaults.

4. Under Select Programs to Display, choose the programs donors should see on the generated page.

5. Select Make URL.

Default Program Settings supplies the defaults used by the generated multi-program page.

The default program settings can affect donor-facing defaults such as currency, amounts, checkout behavior, and other page settings. Choose the setting that should anchor the shared page experience.

Select Programs to Display controls which programs donors can browse from the generated link.

Copy the Generated Link

After the URL is generated, use Copy when Gratona shows the generated link and you are ready to add it to your website, email, or another donor-facing location.

The generated link works similarly to the public recipient links described in Website and Embed, but it combines multiple programs into one donor-facing page.

If No Programs Are Available

URL Generator only works when Gratona can find eligible sponsorship programs with settings. If there are no available programs, create at least one fixed-slot or flexible-contribution sponsorship program with settings before generating a multi-program URL.
