Donors Table

The donors table provides a comprehensive view of all donors in your system, allowing you to manage and track donor information efficiently.

To navigate to "Donors Table" click "Donors" under "CRM" on the main menu.

The table interface includes several key features for managing donor data.

Donor Statistical Cards.

These cards show the total number of donors in your organization. They also show how many donors belong to every donor form and also show how many donors have been archived.

Donor Table Tools.

These are the function you can execute on the donor table.

  1. Add Donor

    Click the Add Donor button to add a new donor to a donor profile form. More details about adding a donor here.

  2. Views

    Views are used to rearrange the columns in the donors table. This helps you to select the columns you wish the table to show.

    To change the shown columns in the donors table, click the "Views" button. This will open up a drawer for you to select the donor form from which you want to change the shown fields.

    After choosing a donor form, the drawer will show you the fields from the donor form for you to choose the ones you wish to view

    After selecting your preferred fields, give the view a name and click submit

    After submitting, the table will update and show the selected fields.

    After updating the columns, the view is saved in the "Saved Views" tab.

    To use this view again simply click in the eye icon to update the table columns.

  3. Send Emails.

    The send emails button is used to send account setup notification emails and Year End Statement emails to selected donors or to all donors.

  4. Export.

    The export button allows you to export or download the donors data shown in the table into a CSV file.

  5. Columns.

    The columns button is used to select the columns you want the table to show. Select your preferred columns and click apply to see the changes.

  6. Programs forms filter

    The program forms filter lists all the donor profile forms you have in the system

    Use this to filter the table to show donors form all donor profile forms or from a particular donor profile form.

  7. Search donors.

    Use the search input field to search for donors in the donors table.

  8. Advanced Search.

    Advanced search works more like the search function but adds more specificity to the search

    Here you choose the field you want to search by and what the comparison should be for example "is equal to" and finally the value or text you want to search.

Donors table.

The donors table show you a summary of the details of the donors in your organization.

The donors table has an action column with two icons. The first icon redirects you to the donor's profile page and the second icon opens up a drawer to preview the donor details. In the drawer you can as well edit the donor details.

The donors table has checkboxes on the left that reveal hidden function you can perform on the donors. You can select all the displayed donors by checking the checkbox in the column headers row or you can select particular donors by checking their individual checkboxes.

Clicking these checkboxes will reveal the "Archive" button that you can use to archive a donor. To show the archive button, make sure you have filter the table to show a particular donor profile form.

You can then archive the selected donors by clicking the "Archive" button.

After archiving a donor, the donor statistical cards will update the number in the archived donors card.

To view the archived donors simply click the Archived Donors card and when you click the checkboxes while viewing the archived donors, you will see the hidden functions for restoring the archived donors or deleting them.
